When you enter the apartment, you'll immediately notice that you are not in your average cookie-cutter apartment. Designed by Donald Singer, who had come to Fort Lauderdale in 1964 and built this four-unit Colee Hammock apartment building that is still regarded as one of the architectural highlights of the city. Its sleek modern lines and unique placement of a single oak tree in an enclosed courtyard for each unit are a marvel to behold. In the kitchen, there is a small table for eating or drinking. The kitchen is equipped with the basics so you can enjoy a nice meal. The living room has a couch and a Murphy bed (see photos of it closed in a black closet and opened). The bathroom has laundered towels, hand towels and face cloths, soap, and shampoo. Note: The property does not have a washer and dryer, nor does it have a dishwasher. There is central air. Note: the A/C is set at between 68 and 78.
